Paper 'Plique Presented by Art Effects

Paper 'Plique, tissue paper walls or elephant skin examples.

Here we made a simple foyer into an entrance to a castle.
Using our fossil rock technique, we covered the walls with castle stones.
Then added a crinkled paper faux ( Paper 'Plique) technique to the niche to set off the customers painting.

Following the theme in the niche we continued the Paper 'Plique up the stairs below the chair rail.
For an added flare we enhanced the technique by adding a Anaglypta wall paper border
above the crinkled paper. Then took it a step further and using joint compound skip troweled
across the paper and border.

Above is how we turned an ordinary wall into a focal point.

Above is a rich brown leather finish we used in an media room.
This sample shows the finish going up the stairs. To finish it off we used upholster tacks over a releif border
to simulate a leather strap.
