On the Jungle's edge you find a beach. This scene is painted in and elevator foyer
in a private residence in Sarasota, Florida.

A small foyer it had two doors the elevator door and a door to the adjacent condo.

Faux and trompe l'oeil stones made up the surrounding walls for an extra added effect.

A close up of one of the doors reveals how the roots of the foliage
has cracked
and broken the tile.

Spanning the rest of the wall of the foyer on a lightly fauxed wall is twisted vines
and a monkey. Trompe l'oeil Murals designed and painted like this allow for the artist to return
and add extra features to the artwork at a later date. Monkeys, birds, frogs, more vines and leaves.
It is after all "a Jungle out there!"
