The Monkey Room Mural Presented by Art Effects

A Trompe L'Oeil bamboo wall attachment was painted over a simple colorwash
to match the bamboo hanging over the bed.

To avoid having to cover the whole wall in a detailed mural
we choose to paint one of our Art Effects (a trompe l'oeil tear and fold back).
Then detailed vines and monkeys.

Then as in most of our work we brought one of the monkeys out of the main area.
this adds interest and more depth to the Effect.
